Learning Support

Support programs to help every student achieve

At Rangeview Primary School, we have dedicated programs to ensure every student meets their potential.

Learning Support

We believe that every child has a right to the best opportunities possible. In order to assist students in achieving their personal best, we have support programs which can aid them in
their learning.

We have a Literacy Intervention program following the Little Learners Love Literacy model which supports our early years literacy learners at point of need. We have a Numeracy Intervention program following the Quick Smart Maths model which supports our upper level students in their numeracy growth, at point of need.

We have an English as an Additional Language (EAL) program to support students with English language support needs. We have a Tutor working within the funded TLI model to support students across the school with literacy support needs. Teachers construct Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for students in consultation with the student wellbeing leader and parents. Student Support Group (SSG) meetings are scheduled regularly for students with high level support needs, to update parents in regards to their child’s growth and achievements.

Supporting All Students

For learning to take place we need to ensure that every child feels safe, happy and confident within themselves - and so a huge emphasis is placed on a strong wellbeing and support program that achieves just that!

Every Child Matters

Our dedicated teaching staff pays close attention to every detail, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
